Founded by Sally Carlson and Matt Slepin, passionate professionals with a combined total of nearly 60 years of real estate and search experience, Terra Search Partners takes a thoughtful approach to the recruitment process, yet one that is infused with urgency.

Our view: Leadership transition can present opportunities for strategic internal examination. As such, we see our role in the process as part conductor, part confidant. Working in strategic partnership with our clients, we cultivate a heightened level of understanding about your business and culture, your market and your objectives, to form the right questions, and identify key success metrics and cultural cues. This platform serves as a framework as we meet with candidates to understand their relevant skill set and experience as well as motivations, values and desires.

Search firms and their clients pin their success to the speed at which they fill a position or how closely an identified candidate aligns with the profile of the position sought. However, the reality is that human beings and organizations are quite complex, making search a highly subjective endeavor and not so cut and dry. It is during the more challenging engagements – when the candidate profile is a work in progress, client needs are not quite resolved or an organization is in transition – where we believe our clients benefit most from our experience and persistence, and where our firm shines.
